A Christian study center serving the
University of Minnesota community

Bringing God into the marketplace of ideas by
communicating the Christian worldview
with its transforming potential.

Can mercy restore what genocide destroyed? This is the gripping question behind the recently produced documentary film, As We Forgive, by Laura Waters Hinson, which highlights the relational devastation in post-genocide Rwanda and the restorative potential of human forgiveness. The Institute along with the Pilgrim Center for Reconciliation will be co-sponsoring the film's debut in the Twin Cities on May 8 (at the Oak Street Cinema near the U). The screening begins at 7 p.m., and will be followed by a discussion led by Dr. Arthur Rouner, Pilgrim's founder. Admission is free, but a $5 donation will be requested at the door.
