Welcome
Whether you've been involved with MacLaurin in the past or are discovering us for the first time, we hope you'll find our website a helpful gateway into our conversations and community. The MacLaurin Institute exists to bridge church and university in the Twin Cities. Our programs seek to create public forums so that students as well as academic and theological leaders can work together to address some of the most challenging issues of our day. Such venues bring the intellectual vitality of the Christian tradition to research and scholarship at the University, while also familiarizing church communities with the latest trends and discoveries in the various academic disciplines. At MacLaurin, we’ve seen that both communities have much to gain!We want to invite you to be a part of what we're doing. Take a look at our calendar of events to the right. Learn about our staff and programs under the links to the left. Sign up for our biweekly newsletters that summarize the latest from MacLaurin and also spread word about events in the region we believe may interest you. Stop by the study center and library at 808 Essex Street SE in Stadium Village (just off the corner of Oak and Essex). Our new director Bryan Bademan is busy getting to know the community and would love to meet you.
